These Credit Program Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as "Credit Terms") apply together with the XSTAGE Terms of Use, Payment Service Terms, and Privacy Policy (hereinafter collectively referred to as "XSTAGE Terms").
Article 1 Overview
XSTAGE provides options for purchasing credits or receiving credits for buyers who meet specific requirements. Credits may be held permanently or expire after a certain period depending on the acquisition method, with the expiration period applied from the time of grant. Credits can be applied to future purchases made on the XSTAGE platform.
Article 2 Usage Restrictions
"Credits" are store credits granted according to the eligible qualifications of "Members." Credits are (i) non-refundable and non-transferable, (ii) not cash, currency, or gift card products, and (iii) cannot be exchanged for cash unless legally required. Additionally, "Members" cannot purchase or sell credits from or to others.
Article 3 Credit Granting and Usage Methods
When "Members" meet eligible requirements or make purchases, XSTAGE provides credits. "Members" can pay for credit charging through payment methods provided by the company (credit cards, simple payments, virtual accounts, bank transfers, etc.), and processing times may vary depending on the payment method.
Credit card and simple payment charging is processed immediately. However, payments through virtual accounts and bank transfers are charged after internal verification procedures and may be delayed based on business days.
For virtual account and bank transfer payments, if payment is not confirmed within 7 days after ordering, the credit purchase will be automatically canceled.
When charging credits, the payment amount includes value-added tax (VAT), and for bank transfers, XSTAGE may request relevant information to issue tax invoices.
The minimum amount "Members" can charge in one transaction is 10,000 KRW, and the maximum amount is 1 billion KRW.
Credits can only be used through the XSTAGE platform. Credits are applicable at payment and deducted from the purchase cost by the applied amount. There is no obligation to apply credits to the next purchase, and they can be applied to future purchases. If an amount less than the total available credits is applied to a purchase, the remaining balance will be maintained in the XSTAGE account until used or until credit expiration, or handled according to unclaimed property laws.
If a purchase using credits is canceled, (i) the payment amount is refunded to the payment method (credit card or debit card) according to the refund policy, and (ii) the credit amount used for the canceled purchase is refunded in credit form for future use.
XSTAGE may request additional information submission from "Members" to make credit-related decisions.
Article 4 Legal Liability and Compensation
Credits charged in XSTAGE services cannot be refunded or payment canceled for any reason except legal grounds after charging completion, in accordance with the Electronic Financial Transactions Act and related laws. This clause applies equally to cases of "Members'" change of mind, purchase errors, non-use, etc., and "Members" must agree to this before proceeding with credit charging.
By receiving credits, you agree to these Credit Terms.
You understand and agree that you have full responsibility for (i) applicable tax reporting requirements and (ii) jurisdictional determination regarding taxes borne in relation to credits. Where applicable, XSTAGE may need to impose value-added tax (VAT) on services using credits.
XSTAGE is not responsible for any kind of special, incidental, punitive, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from "Members'" fault, even if XSTAGE has been previously notified by "Members" of the possibility of such damages. In any case, the total compensation liability that XSTAGE owes to "Members" regarding credits shall not exceed the credit amount.
However, if overpayment occurs due to the company's fault such as system errors or duplicate payments, "Members" must immediately notify the company, and the company may refund the relevant amount according to related laws after confirmation. In case of overpayment refund, the company will take measures within 7 business days from receiving the "Member's" request, and the liable party for related fees will be determined according to the cause of responsibility.
The company is not responsible for refund impossibility or delays caused by errors in information provided by "Members."
XSTAGE reserves the right to refuse, invalidate, cancel, reject, or hold for review credits that are applied with incorrect denominations, directly or indirectly fraudulent acts and claims, theft and other misuse, or violation of Credit Terms or XSTAGE Terms. XSTAGE also reserves the right to take all measures including credit recovery and disqualification of "Members" from program participation when fraudulent acts or violations of Credit Terms or XSTAGE Terms are suspected or determined.
Article 5 Credit Usage Scope
The amount of credits does not change over time, but the types of products and services provided on the XSTAGE platform to which credits can be applied may change over time.
Article 6 Amendment of Terms
XSTAGE has the right to modify the Credit Terms at any time under this provision. When changing these terms, the modified terms will be posted on the XSTAGE platform. Additionally, "Members" will be notified by email of the terms change thirty (30) days before the modified terms take effect. Continued use of credits after terms changes will be considered consent to the changes.
